The more than successful series about the also legendary online video game League of Legends has much more to show us. The Arcane spinoff is confirmed and this is what we know about it.
What is known about the Arcane spinoff?
Netflix has made it very clear with a post on Twitter showing, in a video, a bit of what this spinoff is going to be, which is more of a behind-the-scenes look. Well, the tweet is from @arcaneshow but, obviously, he has the approval of the huge platform to break the news.
Its name will be Arcane: Bridging the Rift and it will show us what the origins of the Arcane series have been.
Thus, we can rather speak of a documentary. This will be available from August 4 and will be published one part per week, every Thursday, up to a total of five.
In BtR we are going to see how the six years necessary to bring Arcane to life have been, which, in turn, and in case you haven’t seen it, tells us the story of two of the game’s characters, who are sisters, who live ( or survive) in an oppressed city until they are separated.
Be careful because this series will NOT be broadcast on Netflix. The platform chosen for this is YouTube , specifically on the channel of the video game developer.
In case you’re still wondering at this point, we’re not talking about a second season of Arcane, which there will be. It is announced, although without even an approximate date. We will have to wait, at least until 2023, that is clear. What we do know is that its co-creators are delighted with the reception that its previous premiere had and are very much looking forward to continuing the story as soon as possible. So yes, in addition to Arcane: Bridging the Rift, there will be Arcane Season 2.
