When will I be able to use GeForce NOW on an LG TV?

The well-known Nvidia service has been expanding but, as is logical, the company wants to reach all the places so that any user can enjoy it. To achieve this, the next step has finally been to be able to use GeForce NOW on an LG TV.

Using GeForce NOW on an LG TV: all the info

This service is basically for the use of video games hosted in the cloud. It is an idea that other companies such as Microsoft have already had and that, of course, works very well due to the different benefits it has.

Therefore, and considering the high capacities that televisions also have when running video games, it is normal to wish that this option is also available.

This is what happens now with LG TVs, well, with certain models. To begin with, they must have LG’s own operating system, which is webOS. However, this is not the only requirement; Older models will not be supported for this service at this time.

GeForce NOW now on more devices

For now, the lucky ones to test GeForce NOW first will be those with an LG 4K OLED, an LG NanoCell from 20212 or an LG QNED MiniLED, either with version 6.0 of webOS. Soon LG will give us the complete list of compatible models and, hopefully, upcoming media dates.

For now, Nvidia will offer a beta version of its application. This is already in the LG TV store and its download and installation is as simple as any other.

Of course, even if it is not the final version, if you want to use this service you will have to be subscribed to any of their plans.

They have the priority subs, which allows you to access the servers first, maintain sessions of up to 6 hours and play in 1080p at 60 fps.

It also has the RTX 3080 subscription that what allows us is, basically, to play with the power of a similar graphics card, in a daily session of up to 8 hours, at 120 fps and in 1440p.

Don’t worry because if you don’t want to pay anything, ideally to take a look, the free subscription allows you to play during sessions of one hour to the games of your library.
