Google Stadia is now available on LG TVs

Not two weeks ago I was talking about how GeForce NOW will arrive and now they bring us the news that we can now enjoy Google Stadia on LG televisions. Do you want to know if you can play?

How Google Stadia works on LG TVs

Although the intention has been known since CES2021 took place, the truth is that it has not been until now that the idea has become a reality, without news through.

It does it, again, LG, by means of an official confirmation and with minimum reaction time, the truth; we gamers are happy.

And the application is already available in a number of countries, including Spain, so that as you finish reading this you can get to work.

Terms? Of course. At the moment, and it is logical considering that it is a support that has just been launched, only you can download and use Google Stadia If your LG TV has a webOS 5.0 operating system. This means it must be a 2020 model or higher. As time goes by, we have no idea if this requirement will be softened or if televisions that do update to 5.0 (being natively lower) may also be supported.

As for video games, the app is at its peak. You will be able to play in 5.1 sound, 4K resolution with HDR10 up to 60 frames per second (the 120 would already be a dream). This, of course, not only has to do with the specifications of the television but also, of course, with the type of subscription to the platforms that you have. For these features, you must be in the Pro version, which is priced at 10 euros per month.

In addition, as already commented and criticized at the time, you will need a compatible control such as the official Stadia Controller or some other (see the list HERE).
