Do you like movies about journalism? I can give you some ideas!

As every Sunday that I can, I reserve it to make you a top of movies or series and, after the little gem that I saw last night, it has occurred to me that there may be lovers of movies about journalism. No? That’s what my top today will consist of.

Top 4 movies about journalism available on Amazon Prime Video

A subject that is not abused too much in cinema, much less in a leading role. And that’s why we can’t miss it, there is always a fan of something no matter how minority it is and I want them to feel as comfortable reading me as I do writing!

  • Kill the messenger. It is the longest and it shows. A journalist searches through the streets of the United States for the repression that is carried out there to end up accusing the CIA of collaborating with drug traffickers. To do this, he investigates from Latin cartels to high spheres or prisons. For this, of course, he is threatened.
  • The correspondent. The protagonist is a prominent military correspondent who exposed dictators but ended up on military missions. Each trip for her is a trauma for her that ends up affecting her life but even so she decides to continue to show the world how bloody and cruel the war is by moving to Syria.

  • The case of Christ. Atheist Lee Strobel investigates in depth with the intention of discrediting Christianity, which seems to have absorbed his wife from him.
  • Minamata. A somewhat successful World War II photographer-journalist has been losing it, along with his career, over the years. Almost three decades later, in the face of the mercury poisoning disaster in Japan, he decides to go back to work to offer us the reality behind a certain process of industrialization.

And to enjoy other genres, save these posts:
